Approaches

I will remember that we are all human and are broken

I will remember that even the most upright or the lowest of persons are no different then I

I will not be ashamed of faith or my shortcomings

I will apply all my abilities to those of need of spiritual or physical needs

Most importantly I will not denigrate or demean or do no harm to my fellow brother or sister

The Call

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Our mission begins in our own households and communities and extends to the ends of the earth, just as Jesus commanded (Acts 1:8). Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to be His witnesses—bearing His love, truth, and compassion wherever He sends us.

This call to missions echoes the Great Commission, urging us to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19–20) and to shine as His light both locally and globally (Matthew 5:14–16). As we go, we take our place in God’s redemptive plan, trusting that He works through us to bring hope, healing, and transformation.

Serving others

“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” – Galatians 5:13

This reminds us that our freedom in Christ is not meant for selfish pursuits, but for serving one another in love (Galatians 5:13). True Christian freedom leads us away from our own desires and into a life that reflects the heart of Jesus. As we serve others with humility and compassion, we demonstrate the love of Christ in our communities and bear witness to His transforming grace.

Sharing the Gospel

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

Our actions often speak more powerfully than our words. This verse calls us to live in such a way that the love of God is evident through everything we do (Matthew 5:16). As we let our light shine before others, our deeds become a testimony that draws hearts toward Christ. In living this way, we fulfill our mission to share the gospel—not only by what we say, but by the Christ-like life we display.
